Shadow Tolerant. By-pass diodes are connected across each cell allowing the laminates to produce electricity even when partially shaded or soiled. High Temp Performance. In real-world conditions module temperatures can be up to 185 degrees. The performance of crystalline silicon cells declines significantly in high temperatures, while UNI-SOLAR amorphous silicon technology does not. Made in USA.

The Uni-solar panels have been on my aluminum roof for almost a year now and I am quite pleased with them. First, they are almost invisible unlike most other solar panels and they have performed well in this unusually cloudy spring we have been experiencing in Western Washington. My solar array is composed of 3.5 kilowatts of panels and, based on their first winter and spring performance, it looks like we won't need to worry about using more power than we produce on any than the darkest days of December and January. Almost every day our batteries are reading 14 volts by 11am.
