I tour by bicycle, and I needed a light stove and this does a great job
when I use sterno, heats water cooks food what more could you ask for, I have used this type of stove for years they work well!!

I purchased this to carry in my survival bag and I didn't pay attention to the weight of the item. When it arrived I was very surprised at how heavy it is. One reviewer mentioned that it was lightweight and I don't see where they are coming from. I'm thinking about breaking the legs and supports off and keeping just the top. I can construct a make-shift stand on the go. Something to think about.
On a side note, you can boil water with sterno! Many will tell you that you can't but you can. It takes a while....roughly twenty minutes. Simply make sure you aren't losing heat to it being blown.

Although I have not yet used this product, hurricane season is on the way. It arrived in good condition, and appears exactly like the photo. I purchased Sterno locally for use with the stove. Recommend for anyone who experiences long power outages. The orange color will also make it easy to find and handle in the dark! Update: works like a charm!
