I totally agree, if you get the 5 inch skillet, get this lid. I found it also fits on the 14 oz melting pot. It does NOT fit the Sante Cabin cobbler pots (which are advertised as 5 inches, but apparently are about 6 inches).

Handle on lid does not have a hole in it.
Would have been more secure (better grip) if the lid handle was not a smooth solid design.

I mean, it's a lid. What can you say about a lid. It works. You cover the pan. The pan is then covered. Wonderful! And it comes in cast iron black.

The lid fits the little lodge sauce pan but not perfectly. I thought it would fit down into the lip of the sauce pan but on mine it doesn't. It's still fine however, just not a snug fit.
