I mounted two of these in the bed of my truck for bed lighting. The lights are bright and have proven to be durable after two years in the bed of the truck, exposed to the elements. They draw little power, so I don't worry about running them for an extended period of time.

I fitted this lamp into a piece of wood that I routed and then mounted it to an articulated lamp base. It works very well as a field portable lamp and won't draw too much from my battery.
