great for boaters Jun 22, 2010 This coleman stove is perfect for making coffee on our boat on Sunday mornings. The boat has an alcohol stove in the cabin, but flares up and constantly has to be filled. This coleman stove can be used in the cabin or on the deck. We love it and also plan on using it at home for a barbeque as an extra burner for saute'.

Great for emergencies May 11, 2010 I bought this burner top for home use and it does the trick. It is relatively large based with soft rubber feet for stability. They protect your table or counter from damage. The lighting and adjustment is easy, and the only limitation is the lowest flame is too much for just a simmer.
Best not used for small pans or skillets as the rack will not hold them without being prone to tipping over. Use medium and large size for best operation.
In my opinion not durable enough to be kicked around and abused. Has vulnerable areas. Use the original cardboard box for storage.

Great Camping Stove Apr 13, 2010 Took this stove on a camping trip and it worked great, the control over the heat is very nice. It feels sturdy and solidly put together. The base is low so it feels stable while sitting on top of a picnic table.

It does what it's designed to do Jan 07, 2010 This portable stove is larger than I expected, but works like a charm. I use this on camping trips and for tailgating and it takes a real beating in my gear bag. The only thing, which other reviewers mention, is the lack of a wind shield. You can easily make one, so I do not consider this a negative.

Very easy to use. Jan 04, 2010 I was very happy with how easy this is to use. My husband and I do a lot of camping. I needed an easy way for me to boil water and heat dips and things. I have to have my coffee and I use folgers sinngles when we go camping. I needed to be able to heat the water without help from my husband and before I had my coffee. Due to arthritis I need my husbands help to open a can of soda. I can use this burner with ease which was just what I was looking for. It is big enough to work with a large skillet and boils water very quickly for a propane set up. I highly recommend this product.
