4Small and spunky! (What the heck does that mean?)  Mar 30, 2005
By Joe Schmoe reviewer
Please note... I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 only because -- like any electric shaver I've ever owned -- it misses some hairs. The other reviewer is correct... you might have to use a razor on occasion to get 'em all. If you're familiar with electric shavers, you probably know exactly what we're talking about.

Having said that, I think it does as good a job as any other electric shaver I've owned. And I've spent a lot more than 10 or 11 bucks on those.

Bottom line: I like it and recommend it.

I use it as a travel shaver. It's "spunky" because it's battery powered. My rechargable starts to slow down after a couple of uses and, of course, needs to be charged. This one really has some energy and so far I haven't worn down the batteries. Battery life seems good since I'd be recharging by now with my other shaver.

You might want to carry a couple of extra batteries with you when you're traveling. But consider this... the shaver itself is self-contained. You don't have to carry a recharging cord (you don't need access to an outlet) and it flips around into it's own "case" so there's no case or pouch to carry around. As such, it's a good, very compact Braun shaver (with trimmer) and you sure can't beat the price.

5I can't believe I'm writing a review for an electric shaver...  Apr 11, 2008
By Keyglow
This bad boy is really awesome. I kid you not. I had to live out of a suitcase for approximately forty days a little less than a year ago. Since I was in transit and my previous shaver had more or less run itself down, I opted insetad to buy this puppy. Thinking, naturally, that if it lasted me a month it will have still been a sound investment as it was priced so incredibly low.

That was ten months ago.

I use it every day.

Every. Day.

And have changed the batteries once.

Ten months. Every day. One battery swap.

That is all.

5Not an electric shaver person, but..  Sep 02, 2005
By S. Michael
I usually use a blade for shaving but needed an electric for those days when I either was too pressed for time to shave at home or had a evening meeting and needed a touch-up. I bought a Braun Wet/Dry Model "whatevermodelnumber". As luck would have it, a free Braun 370 was offered as a bonus. That was 4 years ago. I can't tell you where in my office the expensive (and mediocre) shaver is. The 370 does a consistantly better job. I am buying another so as to have one at my satellite office.

5Perfect Travel Razor  Jun 24, 2004
By Geoffrey Fortier "It's Wordpress"
Having previously owned battery powered travel razors, I was always disappointed with their power and battery life. After all, what's the point ditching a heavier charger and razor if you have to carry a load of extra batteries and still end up stubbly faced? The Braun 370-BK was a pleasant surprise, however; powerful enough to hack through my hiking stubble and plenty of juice for an extended outing. I also liked the folding design which protects the cutting surfaces and keeps the cleaning brush from getting lost. A great piece of tech at a good price.

3Great for travel, commuting and the office  May 02, 2005
By A reader/user
This is a great little shaver for commuting, to keep in your briefcase, or to leave at the office. It doesn't have the oomph nor the really nice sideburn trimmer that would make it a good choice for daily chopping of a heavy beard. It does have one noticeable flaw: sometimes the battery cover comes off in a suitcase or briefcase, dumping the AA batteries out. Most inconvenient.

But it's certainly worth the price and maybe a good bit more than that just to have a shaver at the office to get a quick trim before going out or before an important meeting.
