Description:

What makes the B/R/K Pressure Cooking System different than other pressure cookers? The secret is the amazing, patented single-handed locking system! No other pressure cooking system has this time-saving and easy-to-use feature. The single handed locking mechanism is safe and easy to use, making it the busy cook's best friend in the kitchen. Why pressure cook? Pressure cooking cooks food much faster than by other methods, and with much less water than boiling, so dishes can be ready sooner. Less energy is required than when boiling, steaming or oven cooking. Since less water is necessary, the foods come to cooking temperature faster. Flavors and marinades penetrate deeply as pressure forces liquid into meats, making them more flavorful and tender. As less liquid is needed for cooking (only enough necessary for contant steam), vitamins and minerals are not leached (dissolved) away by water. Since steam surrounds the food, foods are not oxidized by air exposure at heat, so color is retained. The B/R/K Pressure Cooking System is innovative and efficient. What's more, these pots are not only for pressure cooking, they can also be used for steaming, frying, and fast cooking, making these pots a complete cooking system. Winning numerous awards across Europe, the B/R/K Pressure Cooking System was introduced to the US Market in 2007. Immediately the buzz began about this incredible, easy-to-use system. At the 31st annual Gourmet Housewares Show in Orlando Florida in May of 2007 a panel of editors and writers from Bon Appetit, Gourmet News, Gourmet Retailer, HFN, Kitchenware News and O magazine judged 127 product entries in 5 categories. The B/R/K pressure cooking system won the GOURMET GOLD AWARD in cookware/bakeware category. So treat yourself or someone you love to the ultimate in kitchen cookware, and give you or your loved-one the gift of time and health.

All parts are built like a tank, every peice is high quality stainless steel.Pressure is adjustable from 5 to 15 lbs. New sealing rings cost olny $8. each, A small camp stove will power this cooker, set includes a free cookbook [Beyond Pressure Cooking].This set is very versital and workes as expected. The 6 piece value set is a great bargin. Be sure to download the owners manual in English,it ships with a Spanish manual. We ordered four of these sets, they make a great gift, will last a lifetime, this cooker is designed for everyday use.

Got this for my wife and she really loves the set. It is really a quality product. We only wish the steamer inserts came with this set. We ordered them separately. If you are serious about cooking grains, this is a must have product.

1No Instructions  Mar 26, 2010

This looks like a nice little pressure cooker although smaller than expected, a little less than 4 qt. max on the larger pan, as marked on the insides of the pan.

For something that gets as hot and dangerous as a pressure one would think that in the US they would include an instruction booklet in ENGLISH rather than the nice glossy one in only Spanish, or is that Italian.

If you don't speak Spanish I would recommend you keep looking as a pressure cooker can be a very hazardous thing without fully understanding it.

I think this company is not yet ready for the US market... hopefully they will get it.
